When all strands are aligned, there is less friction in the hair during brushing, which is due to the cuticle layer being oriented correctly, reducing the friction that causes tangling. Remy hair therefore means less tangling but not necessarily better hair quality.
THE TREATMENT PROCESS
The hair that is collected is gathered in large sacks or baskets. Then, the hair is sorted by length and quality. Once this is done, the hair is cleaned in large cleansing baths. This step in the process is very important and requires the right hygiene products and equipment. After the cleansing bath, the hair is placed in a bleaching bath that lightens the hair, which is then dyed with textile dye in large containers. Finally, the hair is treated with conditioning products and then adapted to the various extension methods available on the market today.
EXTENSIONS METHODS
Today, there are several different methods for hair extensions, and new ones are constantly emerging.
